Edith-Lynne (Lynne) McKay ,65 passed peacefully with her family by her side after a long and courageous battle with cancer in Langenburg Care Home, Saskatchewan on March 9,2019.
Lynne is survived by her mom, Geraldine Caul of Canora, Saskatchewan. Sons, Corey (Connie), Bryan (Karla) ; Grandchildren; Christina (Gary), Chantelle, Shawn (Tawny), Chance & Natalia. Great grandchildren William & Emma ; Brothers; Bruce, Edmonton, AB , Darren( Cheryl), Winnipeg, MB & Sister Karen Caul, Canora, SK & many nieces & nephews.
Lynne is predeceased by her husband Richard (Rick) McKay, Father, Harold Caul, Sister Suzan Caul
Lynne was born on April 11,1953 in Hamilton, Ontario to Harold & Geraldine Caul. Lynne moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba and attended Britannia, Golden Gate & St James Collegiate where she met many longtime friends. Lynne would have 2 sons, Corey & Bryan Olimb. Lynne loved to travel all over Canada with her 2 boys and had a love for CN trains.
After meeting the love of her life, Rick McKay they married and moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Where they enjoyed the love of travelling, camping & spending time with their grandchildren and fur babies (Sheba, Friday, Teddy & Bonita) & instilling their love for music in each of us.
Lynne would soon meet Ray Richard and spend many happy years with him and have him in her corner during her battle and anytime she needed him he would be there.
Lynne loved camping at Bochy's & Pyotts Campgrounds. She was an outgoing, sociable, kind individual who loved to knit and help others in need
A burial of Lynne’s ashes will be taking place in August with close family & friends. . The family would like to thank Langenburg Care Home for their wonderful care of our mom.
