Ella Lamontagne Obituary

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ella Irene Lamontagne (Branconnier). Ella was the oldest of three children to Arthur and Mary and eight siblings of Mary and Laurence Leforte. Ella was born in the Walkerburn area and attended Grand Narrows School. On May 22, 1948 Ella married the love of her life, William Lamontagne. Together they raised nine children: Bernadette (Ray), Maurice (Barbara), Lennis (Carol), Raymond, Glen (Jacqueline), Theresa (Keith), Burnell,  Daniel and Edward (Janice). Her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren will sadly miss their grandma. Mom loved to bake, especially bread, but was most known for her brown sugar pie, a family favorite at many cherished Christmases on the farm. She eagerly awaited spring to plant her flowers and would sit and watch her beloved kids throughout her favorite season, summer. Ella was  predeceased by her husband, Willie; son, Lennis; sister, Mary; and grandchildren: Daniel and Debbie.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
