I’m called to be an artist of the land
Only by the Grace of God’s Mighty hand,
I work his fields to care for my own
I’m honored to call this farmstead my home.
His crops spring before my eyes
As I take off my gloves and look at the sky,
For I know the miracles he generously sends
To feed this family as His wishes intend.
I care for his animals as if they are mine
I’m honored to do the work, oh yes, so divine,
I give thanks for all the rain
For these waters may grow His grain.
I hear the Lord calling to farm this ground
I believe in my mission blessings abound,
His miracle surrounds me with fields so lush
Yes, I painted the land with a master’s brush.
