It is with love and sadness we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother Beverly  Brinkman (Brander) on July 14th, 2025, at the Dauphin Regional Health Center at the age of 78 years.

Beverly Brander was born on October 5, 1946, to her parents James and Eva Brander in Dauphin, MB where she was raised. She was a loving sister to her brother, Rick Brander. Bev graduated from Little’s Business College and soon began working at the Grandview Credit Union. On October 22, 1966, Bev married Acey Brinkman and together they made their home in the RM of Gilbert Plains (Dutton Siding). Here they raised their four children Todd, James, Darilyn and Craig. Her family was of utmost importance to her. Later in life she returned to the workforce and worked at ARC Industries and retired from her career at Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Administration in 2005.

Bev loved her community and contributed to it through various roles including being District and Regional 4-H Leader. She served on the Gilbert Plains Fair Board, former Intermountain School Board as well as the Grandview Credit Union Board. She enjoyed belonging to The Eastern Star,  The Royal Canadian Legion, United Church Women, Red Hat Society and her beloved Quilting Clubs. Gardening, golfing, curling, knitting and reading filled her spare time when she found it.  Bev loved being involved and the people who surrounded her.

Bev was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She leaves to mourn her friend of 24 years, Kasper Bergman, from Langenburg, SK. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children Todd and Michelle Brinkman of Gilbert Plains, James and Twila Brinkman of Fork River and Darilyn and Larry Skanderbeg of Littleton, Colorado; grandchildren Alyssa Brinkman, Laura Brinkman-Manchur (Chris), Acey Brinkman (Anika), Tyson Skanderbeg, Tiana Skanderbeg, Kaylee Brinkman and Dawson Brinkman; brother Richard Brander (Anita) of Abbotsford BC; sister-in-law Lillian Playford of Gilliam, brother-in-law Tom Worth of Grandview and two nieces and one nephew.

She was predeceased by her husband Acey Brinkman in 1997 and son Craig Brinkman in 1993; her parents James and Eva Brander (Miles) as well as her mother and father in law Madeleine and Allan Worth.
