Colynda (AKA Mouse) was born on December 23, 1967 in Calgary, Alberta to Grant and Noreen (Davidson) Wyatt. Our parents parted when Colynda was 5 years old and our Mom was remarried to Ed Roskivich in 1974. We moved to Sparwood, British Columbia in 1975 and in 1978 we packed up and moved to Russell, where Colynda has resided since.
Colynda has 3 children, Cole, Levi and Abby Cusitar. They truly gave her a lot of joy. She was involved in their lives as much as possible and loved them with all her heart.
Colynda worked a few different jobs throughout her life, however she found her dream job working at the vet clinic. As many of you know, Colynda absolutely loved animals. In her teenage years she was involved in 4-H and attended a lot of horse shows with her special horse, Lady. She was compassionate when it came to her fur babies and was known to save a “few”. She loved animals of all kinds.
Colynda was also very passionate about her personal relationship with Jesus and was baptised in 2013. She was involved in her church, which led her and Gerard to a completing a few mission trips in Mexico. She was involved in her quilting group, bible studies and other various activities and made some very close friends.
She leaves to mourn her husband Gerard VanCaeseele of 20 years and her children, Cole and Jody Cusitar and her two beautiful grandchildren Cruz and Tru of Churchbridge, Saskatchewan; Levi Cusitar of Russell, Manitoba; and her daughter Abby and Asha and grandson Isaac from Slave Lake, Alberta; her step sons Jeremy (Erin) VanCaeseele and their children Ella and Avery; Jon (Justine) VanCaeseele and their children Cohen and Bennett. She also leaves her sister Lonnie and her two children, Kaylee and Grant (Christy) Naherniak; her mother-in-law Barb VanCaeseele as well as many other family members and close friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Grant in 1981, her mother, Noreen and stepfather, Ed in 2015; her father-in-law Arnold VanCaeseele in 2019.
