Dakota Stylez Elijah Bunn

DAKOTA STYLEZ ELIJAH BUNN of Birdtail Sioux Dakota Nation unexpectedly passed away on September 27, 2022, at the Virden General Hospital ER at the age of five months.

Dakota was welcomed in to this world by his loving parents Whisper Bunn and Joshua Elk, after a wonderful full-term pregnancy and comfortable delivery.  He was a vibrant baby who enjoyed his siblings:  Clara (11), Tyrese (8), Riley (5) and Alaira (1). He was an energetic jolly baby whose smile was ever present.  Dakota enjoyed watching his siblings play and he would let them know he was paying attention from his saucer.   He was especially fascinated by the notion of his baby sister’s ability to walk about as he would watch her closely and smile.  Dakota was also loved by his many cousins – as they too included him in their activities during their many visits. 

Dakota was a happy content baby who will be deeply missed by his family forever as he will be commemorated through the years and decades to come in Dakota Tradition.  Whisper and Joshua showered Dakota with their love and care that speaks of the best of the best of healthy humanity. 

Dakota is predeceased by his paternal grandparents Gabriel and Karen Elk, and his maternal grandparents Shelley Bunn and Thelma and Victor Branth Sr; his maternal aunts and uncles:  Veronica, Sherri, Rena, Tyrone, Victor Jr and Mikey.

Dakota is survived by his mother and father, Whisper Bunn and Joshua Elk and his siblings Clara, Tyrese, Riley and Alaira.
