It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Clearsky Jr., on January 31, 2025. Daniel was born on July 28, 1986, in Russell, Manitoba, and spent his younger years in Waywayseecappo, before moving to Saskatoon with his family.
Daniel was predeceased by his grandparents, Daniel Clearsky and Alva Clearsky (Shingoose), Alvin Shingoose and Beatrice Shingoose; his brother, Cody Clearsky; and his sister, Maria Shingoose. He is survived by his loving parents, Daniel Clearsky Sr. and Joyce Shingoose; his siblings Kelly Shingoose (Maurice Henry), Shannon Shingoose (Victoria Shingoose), Katlyn Clearsky, Jessica Clearsky, Joseph Clearsky (Kalley Benjoe), Bianca Clearsky (Charles Mentuck), Sugar Clearsky, and Serena Clearsky. Daniel also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and two cherished grandchildren. He loves you all.
Daniel was a beloved family member who took care of his sister Katlyn's children before he got sick. He was a good uncle, often babysitting and caring for his nieces and nephews. His auntie Donna and uncle Charlie affectionately called him "Mother Goose" because of his constant presence in the children's lives. He enjoyed going for walks along the river in Saskatoon with his nieces and nephews, and he had a playful spirit, always engaging in games and jokes with friends and family. His love for pets showed in the way he cared for them, including helping his nephew Tristan with his dog Puppies.
Daniel will be remembered for his friendly, funny, and lovable nature. His smile could brighten any room, and he was always there for his family, no matter what. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
“We will remember Daniel for life, cherishing the memories of his warmth and kindness.”
