Jack David Vermette passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the Russell District Health Centre at the age of 54 Years.
He was born May 10, 1969 at the Russell Health Centre to Antoine and Florence Vermette.
Jack was known as David by his friends and family. Growing up he liked playing baseball and hanging out with his cousins.
David met his wife in Yorkton, Saskatchewan in 2000. He moved the family to Russell in 2006. They then married on May 10, 2008.
A few of the places he worked were Castleton, Duncan Trailers, FabTec and Esterhazy mine.
He loved being around family and his pets. Throughout his lifetime, one of his favorite things to do was driving the country roads, going fishing, hunting and enjoying family events. He also liked watching T.V. shows, like Jeopardy, Ice Road Truckers, Gold Rush and football. His favorite team was the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
He is survived by his 2 sons Brian Kitchemonia and Joseph Kitchemonia; 3 daughters Martina Chartrand, Lisa-Marie Kitchemonia (Matthew Edwards) and Alexandra Kitchemonia; 8 grandchildren; Damian Kitchemonia Nykita Kitchemonia, Levi Kitchemonia, Nayla Chartrand, Mia Chartrand, Vincent Jr., Jemma Kitchemonia and Jasmine Kitchemonia; mother Florence Vermette; and his two sisters May (Al) Vermette and Michelle (Avery) Nimrichter.
