Delwin Andres Obituary

Delwin Sheldon Andres was born May 14, 1954 at Roblin, MB to Edwin & Betty Andres (Nee Doering) of MacNutt, Sk.

Del was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Faith at Christ Lutheran Church in MacNutt.  He grew up on the family farm 4 ½ miles North of town.

Del attended the Clova Country School and continued schooling in MacNutt.

In 1969 he met Jayne Fieseler and they dated for 3 years. Del ventured to Rocky Mountain House, Alberta with frequent trips home to visit his love.  Del wanted to have Jayne in his life      forever and they were married on March 3, 1973 at St Paul’s    Lutheran Church in Langenburg.

They moved to Edmonton to Del’s apartment where he was    employed. On June 20, 1973 they welcomed Christine Michelle Andres.  They shared much love and happiness together but  tragically when she was 15 ½ months old, God called her home.

Shortly thereafter, Del & Jayne moved to a duplex in Saskatoon. On June 9, 1975 they welcomed Cory Michael Andres.  In 1976 Del & Jayne moved a house trailer to the family farm in MacNutt, where he was employed at IMC.  On July 22, 1979 a second son Ryan Jeffery Andres was born.  In April of 1981 Del took over the Shell Fuel dealership in MacNutt. Del & Jayne’s business grew to selling dry fertilizer and NH3, still known after 40 years as      Andres Farm Services.  October 23, 1984 brought their third son Adam Joel Andres to the family. The boys all grew up working alongside Del in the family business at some point which truly meant the world to their Dad.

The boys found the love of their lives and Del & Jayne now had their girls! Jami, Raelene & Ada became part of the family.  More importantly, their boys and their wives blessed them with 6 amazing Grandchildren; Karlee, Joel, Heidi, Lola, Harper & Kale.

As the years progressed, Del was blessed with 67 years and in those years he touched so many hearts.  He loved his wife, family and multitude of amazing friends.

Del was predeceased by his father Edwin Andres and daughter Christine. He has left to mourn his mother Betty, his wife Jayne of 48 years, Sons Cory (Jami) and Karlee, Ryan (Raelene) &  daughters Lola & Harper, Adam (Ada) & children Joel, Heidi & Kale and sister Kathy (Lynn) Furtney.
