Donna Eleanor Klimach

It is with great sadness our family announces the peaceful passing of our Mother, grandmother and great grandmother on May 22, 2022 at the age of 92, her family was by her side.

Donna was born in Elgin Manitoba on January 27, 1930 the eldest of 4 children to Eleanor and Melvyn Spratt.  She grew up on the family farm helping with chores and taking care of the animals, she loved to skate, and play ball.  About 1948 Donna left the Elgin farm and graduated Business school in Brandon.

In 1961 Donna married Wilbie Klimach at Hope Lutheran Church in Grandview Manitoba and they moved to the family farm near Inglis.  For the next 34 years Donna's life was very busy raising 6 children, farming, gardening, sewing, knitting and being an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Inglis which involved becoming President of the Ladies Aid for 30 years.  She met many special people throughout her life and had many cherished friendships.

Donna was a very dedicated mother and her family meant the world to her.  She enjoyed visiting them and travelled on the greyhound bus for many years up until the age of 81 to spend time with them.

Donna loved life and could always fill a room with laughter and treated everyone equally.  She made a point of remembering everyone's birthday and anniversary.  She was very proud of all her children, their spouses and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them whenever possible.

Donna was predeceased by brother Bud (Marge)Spratt; sisters Ruby (Jack) Schram, Joan (Patrick) McNeill; granddaughter Stephanie Cantley and great granddaughter Quinn Goldhardt.

Surviving are her husband Wilbie Klimach, children Randy (Debby) Munro, Kerri (Jim) Skibinski, Carla (Dale) Trach, Barb (Ray) Cantley, Lori Cochrane, Paul (Katie) Klimack, 16 Grandchildren and 18 Great-grandchildren.

Our family is grateful to all who were a part of Mom's life over the years, friends, homecare, Russell Healthcare team.  A special thank-you to Lonnie Naherniak for going over and above to help in the care of our special Mom.
