Erwin Gordon Scheller

Erwin Gordon Scheller was born October 9, 1936 in Russell, Manitoba to his parents Mary and August.  Erwin farmed with his parents for many years and took over the farm when they retired.

Erwin married Gloria Grassinger and they had two children together, a boy and a girl. 

On December 21, 1991 Erwin married Theresa Sandor.  They farmed together, growing many good crops, for 23 years before retiring. They enjoyed 32 years of marriage before Erwin’s passing at the age of 86. 

On the weekends they visited every park in the area, often with the truck camper.  They also enjoyed a trip to Vancouver.  Erwin was a hard-working man with many projects.  He would stop, when he had time, for soup and a rest and then he’d be off again!

Later in his life Erwin had a fall and broke his hip which hospitalized him for two months.  He had some bumps and bruises on a few other occasions, but he still kept busy and didn’t let it keep him down.

Erwin is survived by his wife, Theresa, two sons, and one daughter.
