Gary Edward Bradshaw

Gary Bradshaw, a lifelong resident of Binscarth, Manitoba, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on December 14, 1949, at Russell Hospital. Gary spent his childhood on the family farm west of Binscarth, where he developed a deep connection to the land and a lifelong passion for raising cattle. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing baseball, curling, and trapping, activities that became part of the fabric of his life.

Gary worked for the Manitoba Department of Highways for many years before retiring to focus full-time on farming, where he felt most at home. In 1975, he married the love of his life, Jamie Christie, on July 19. Together, they raised their two children on the family farm, passing on the values of hard work, resilience, and community that Gary held so dear.

A dedicated community member, Gary was involved with the Binscarth Buzzards, the Binscarth Curling Club, and the Binscarth Park & Pool. His contributions to these organizations enriched the lives of many in the community.

Gary was predeceased by his parents, Rex and Dorothy; his sister, Vivian Kennedy; and his brother, Murray Bradshaw. He is survived by his loving wife, Jamie; his son, Nolan (Kathryn); his daughter, Christie (Matthew); his sister, Marlene Jones; and his cherished grandchildren, Emme, Owen, Rex, and Bo.

A funeral service will be held on November 23, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Passion for Paws - LaVerne Rosnoski-Tomasha.

Gary will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose warmth, humor, and dedication to his family and community touched the lives of all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his loved ones and in the land he cared for so deeply.
