George Victor Wagner

George Victor Wagner of Brandon, Manitoba, formally of Inglis, Manitoba, passed away on January 22, 2025 at Brandon General Hospital at the age of 98 years with his son Jack and his daughter-in-law Gloria by his side. George was born on January 9, 1927 to Reinhold and Juliana Wagner. He was one of 14 children. He married Wilma Zimmer on October 17, 1947. They were blessed with two children; a daughter Arla born on November 11, 1952, on Wilma‘s birthday, and a  son Jack was born on January 8, 1956. He lived his life on the family farm near Inglis, Manitoba until the age of 96 years and 10 months. At this time due to his health, his family moved him to Brandon to live with his son Jack until the time of his passing.

George was predeceased by his parents, Reinhold and Julianna Wagner, his wife Wilma, brothers, Reinhold, Albert, Richard and Adolph; sisters, Elsie, Pearl, and Helene; Wilma‘s brothers  Laurance, Robert ,Bert and Julius and sisters Alvina and Clara   He is survived by his daughter Arla (Grant); his son Jack (Gloria); grandchildren Sheri (Harry), Michelle (JP), Corey, Lorissa, Colin (Monique); great grandchildren Severin, Keira, Randi (Brody), Riley, Shawn, Alli and Logan; great-great grandchildren Cali, Ashlee, Paisley and Luca.
