Hazel Elizabeth Torrie

Hazel Torrie passed away peacefully April 2, 2023 after a lifetime of care and concern for others.

Hazel was born and raised in Sifton, Manitoba before moving to the Birtle area with her family in her young adult life.

She was a caregiver throughout her work years, featuring her cooking and handicraft skills to benefit others.  In her later years, Hazel knit well over 500 small dolls to donate to the Brandon Hospital to comfort children.

Hazel was predeceased by her parents, Jim and Francis, and her brother Art.

At 97 years, her work is done.  She will be missed.
