Keith Lewis of Birtle passed away December 10, 2024 at the age of 71 years.
Keith was born October 2, 1953 in Macgregor, Manitoba. He lived in Chatham, New Brunswick and France before moving to Portage La Prairie in 1963.
He graduated high school and then attended Assiniboine Community College in Brandon where he obtained his Architectural Draftsperson. He worked in his field with the Manitoba Highways Department in Thompson. This is where he met and married his wife Shelly in May, 1983.
Keith retired in 2010 and moved to Birtle, Manitoba where he worked part time as a truck driver for the Coop as well as a local farmer.
Keith was an active member of the Masons, Widow Sons & Lions. Some of his major interests included being a Scouting leader, carpentry, spending time at the cabin with his family and being creative. He was an active motorcyclist which led to many fun filled trips with his brother.
He was predeceased by his brother Stuart Wing of England, parents, father-in-law and brother-in-law.
He is survived by his wife Shelly (Bays), sons Rylan (Jessica) and Cale; also Kayla (Adam) and a total of 6 grandchildren; Remington, Rhett, Theoren, Quinn, Daxton and Lainey. Also survived by his mother-in- law Alma, brother Kevin Lewis (Patricia) plus nephew and niece, Alan and Nikki.
