Kenneth (Kenny) was born in Russell, Manitoba on April 12, 1960. He entered into the spirit world on October 23, 2022 with his love Marina and his family by his side.
Kenny was diagnosed with cancer on September of this year. This very aggressive disease took his life of our dear Kenny much too early.
He was predeceased by both parents: Arthur Brandon & Audrey Cooke; brothers Dennis Brandon, Ronald Brandon and Chiboy.
Kenny was raised by his grandparents Shoomin and Luto and attended school in Brandon, Manitoba. Kenny lived in many major cities from here to the west coast, residing in Brandon, Regina, Saskatoon, Calgary, Wetaskiwin and Vancouver. He travelled many times to the west coast. Going back and forth, province to province was not a problem for him. He was a craftsmen and built many things for himself and others. Most often he gave away the projects he worked hours on. Kenny was a very loving father and always spoke with people about his sons JR, Jesse and Thomas. He adored his grandchildren.
Kenny’s most recent employment was janitor/maintenance at the Jordan’s Principle here in Waywayseecappo. He loved his job very much and enjoyed working there. He was very fond of his coworkers. He used to say “All my women at work”- he was the only male staff at that time. He truly enjoyed being part of the team and always was so proud of the programs or activities that were happening.
He also worked at Kip Regional Park in Saskatchewan for about 3 years. Kips is a beautiful summertime resort and golf course. He always took pride in any job he did. He enjoyed the setting, loved the outdoor work-he loved being outdoors.
He will be remembered for his kindness, caring, generosity and his sense of humor. Always a smile, always a laugh. He was silly at times, making everyone laugh, yet always ready to help others. We will miss the good times. He had a big generous, kind, loving heart with an abundance of pride and joy and love for his family. His other pride and joy was his quad, he was proud to own and brand new set of wheels.
Kenny leaves to mourn the love of his life Marina; sons JR (Chantel), Jesse & Thomas; daughter Bobbi; grandchildren Kayne, Taylor, Charlize, Logan, Eli, Lyra, Mila and all the others who called him grandpa; brothers Brian & Garry; sisters Rose & Joyce, Andrea and Lema; others he considered siblings; Glenda, Jeannette, Cheryl, Sharon, Ted & Merle; aunties Linda Scott, Cecile Whitstone, Eva Mecas, Arlene Cooke & Margaret Brandon; Uncle Harvey Cooke as well as numerous nieces and nephews and friends from near and far.
Kenny leaves many precious memories which we will treasure and cherish. We will always remember him with love and will be in our hearts forever. Until we meet again…
