Ken was born in Birtle, Manitoba on March 22, 1957, and passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on December 18, 2022. He grew up in Foxwarren and attended school in Foxwarren and Birtle. After two years in Lethbridge, Alberta studying Environmental Science he worked in Snow Lake Manitoba for the Department of Natural Resources as a Fire Ranger with a Helitac crew. Ken really enjoyed his time in northern Manitoba as his hobbies included hunting and fishing. After several years in the north Ken moved to Carberry and worked in Neepawa at HyLife. After retirement Ken moved back to Foxwarren. Ken was predeceased by his father James, mother Doreen, sister Dianne and brother-in-law Picton Brereton. He will be missed by his brother Don, sister-in-law Donna, nieces, nephews, and their families as well as close friends, Jack, Kathy, and Connie.
