Leonard Lawrence Adam Sicinski from Russell MB, passed away June 27th, 2021 at the age of 61.
He was born April 13, 1960 to Lawrence & Margaret Sicinski in Birtle, MB. Tragedy struck at a very young age as he lost his mother in 1961, then went to live with his grandparents. In 1965, his father remarried and Len came to Brandon to live with his father and new mom and soon became a big brother to Paul, Darryl & Leanne. Leonard received his education in Brandon and started work while in high school as a cleaner at ACC.
He had a few jobs in his life but really enjoyed welding at Metal Industries in Brandon. Around 1980, he moved to Russell and that became his home. He worked at a few welding places and then he decided to open a shop in Russell called Sicinski Welding (1987 to 2016). In 2014, he started to work at the Russell Golf Course until his passing.
He was very active in the community with hockey, from being a minor hockey league coach, to being a scout with “junior hockey” and playing golf.
He was predeceased by his mother Margaret (1961) and father Lawrence (1991).
He is survived by his: mom, Linda (Bray), brother, Paul (Lori) and family, brother, Darryl (Debbie) and family, sister Leanne AND his “BIG SISTER”, Donalda (Fred) Thompson and family and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
