Linda Edythe Ternovetsky

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother Linda Ternovetsky on August 7, 2021 surrounded by family, at the age of 68 years old.  Linda Edythe Ternovetsky was born in Rossburn, MB on February 28, 1953 to Robert and Edythe Young.  She lived on the farm just south of Vista for a number of years until the family moved to Vista to run the café.   She attended the

Vista school and Rossburn Collegiate. 

On August 1, 1970 Linda married the love of her life, Ivan Ternovetsky and they settled in Vista.  Together, they raised 4 children in Vista and eventually built and moved to the farm northeast of Rossburn.  She was an avid farmer, raising chickens, ducks, geese, sheep, pigs, beef cattle, and dairy cattle.  When they thought farming had run its course, they settled on the acreage just outside of Rossburn.  Farming was not entirely out of their blood though, and they always had animals on the acreage.

Linda worked as an operator for Manitoba Telephone, receptionist at Kadi-lo Farm Services, cashier at Parkway Coop, and in administration at the Rossburn Health Centre.

Predeceased by her father Robert in 1968, sister Margaret in 1997, brother Dennis in 2009, and mother Edythe in 2012, Linda is survived by her husband of 51 years Ivan, son Robert (Eloise), daughter Angela (Craig), son Kyle (Pam), and son James (Darla) and 10 grandchildren.
