Lloyd Percy Radbourne was born on June 11, 1930 at the home farm north of Gerald to Ernest and Pearl (Burton) Radbourne and was the youngest of five siblings. He took his schooling in Gerald and spent his life on the farm.
He expanded his farm to raising purebred polled Herefords and was proud to win a grand champion ribbon with one of his heifers at the Toronto Winter Fair.
Lloyd’s hobbies included fishing, hunting, curling, bowling, watching the Blue Jays, and he always enjoyed a chat with everyone on coffee row. On November 4, 1953, he married Doreen Kacsmar of Esterhazy and enjoyed 72 years of happiness together. They had no children, but he cherished his many nieces and nephews and all of their children.
Lloyd and Doreen farmed on his parents home farm until they purchased their own. They retired from farming in 1996, but remained on their home acreage until 2010 when they moved to Langenburg.
Lloyd was a 4-H leader and volunteered with the Elks and Lions. They enjoyed travelling and had wonderful trips to the East Coast of Canada, toured many states in the U.S., explored Cuba and he was able to fulfill his greatest wish with a trip to England.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest & Pearl Radbourne; Sister Edith and Tom Wenzoski; brother Bert and Annie Radbourne; sister Grace and Garth Persicke; brother Ernest and Mary Radbourne; and his beloved dog, Nicki.
He is survived by his dearest wife of 72 years, Doreen, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Lloyd will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
