Margaret Ostapowich

Margaret Anne Ostapowich (nee Jackson) was born January 3, 1926 in the farm home at Inglis to parents John and Ada Jackson. She passed away April 17, 2021.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents and her brothers: Bill and Earl, husbands: Carl Ostapowich and Frank Morowski.

She is survived by son, Wayne (Monica) and daughter Marlene Lord (Walter), four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Margaret and Carl were married in November 1945 and farmed in the Brightside district until they retired and moved to Russell in 1977. Carl passed away in 1982. Margaret and Frank Morowski were married in 1996 and spent many happy years together until Frank’s passing in 2009.

Margaret spent her remaining years in Russell, living independently and enjoying her friends and especially her grand and great-grandchildren. Her strength, wit and intelligence will be fondly remembered by her friends and family.
