Maurice George Johnson

Maurice George Johnson of Langenburg, Sk. passed away Sat, Nov.8 at the Langenburg Centennial Care Home at the age of 92.  Maurice was born in Marchwell and farmed for many years on the family farm.  Later in life he and his brother moved to Langenburg.  Maurice enjoyed driving around the countryside looking at the progress of everyone's crops.  He loved watching sports of all kinds - especially the Roughriders.  Maurice was a kind, generous man.  He always had a warm smile and wave for everyone.  Maurice was predeceased by his father, George, mother, Ida, and brother, Claris.  He is survived by his sister Gloria Murray.

The funeral service was held Thurs Nov 13th at the Braendle-Bruce Funeral Chapel with Rev Ryan Schnee officiating.  Internment followed in the Bethel Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Lee Kerr, Nicholas Kerr, Alfred Sheridan, Marcos Lenz, Vince Schnee.
