Naomi Nettaline Loptson of Binscarth Manitoba, passed away at the Morley House Personal Care Home, in Shoal Lake Manitoba, on Monday, July 6, 2020.
She was the youngest of the 7 children born to Floyd and Ella Myers, and was born at their family farm in Parshall, North Dakota, USA, September 18, 1926. She grew up helping her family on the farm, travelling after highschool, and then became a nurse at the Trinity Hospital, after she graduated from the Minot University with her nursing degree in 1944. After marrying Harvey Loptson, on October 21, 1956, they settled together on the farm south of Binscarth, Manitoba. There they raised their son Orris, and enjoyed farming together as a family for many years.
Naomi was predeceased by her father, Floyd Myers and her mother, Ella Myers. Her brothers Mearl Myers, Walter Myers and Wilfred Myers. Her sisters Gladys Richtsmeier, Violet Myers and Priscilla Walter. Her daughter Katherine Loptson and son Orris Loptson. Her husband, Harvey Loptson (2016)
She leaves behind with special memories, her grandsons: Clinton (Ashley) Loptson of Binscarth, Justin Loptson of Binscarth, Myron (Denaya) Loptson of Angusville, and her daughter in law: Bonnie (David) Cobb of Yorkton, SK. As well with many nieces and nephews across the states of the USA. Her friends in the Binscarth field will miss her dearly.
