It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Peggy Ann Shingoose at the age of 60 years. She lived to be a loving Mother, Sister, Grandma, Auntie, and Friend.
Peggy will always be loved and remembered by her children Amanda (Garry), Ashley (Krissy), Alaya, Sheena (Nathan), Kyle (Jessica), Tylor (Monica), and Garry. Peggy cherished all her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren, Sister Yvonne Shingoose, Brother Albert Shingoose. She will forever be remembered for her love, her infectious laugh, and amazing sense of humor by all her nieces, nephews, uncles, aunties, cousins, family-in-law, friends, and community members.
She is predeceased by her Father George Swain, Mother Virginia Shingoose (nee) Buckle, Grandmother Mary Margaret Swain, Sister Sylvia Clearsky (nee) Shingoose, Sister Lena Shingoose, Auntie Christine Mckay, and her best friend Harvey Keewatincappo.
Peggy was born in Rossburn, Manitoba and was raised in Oakburn, Manitoba by her Grandmother. She spent most of her life residing in Dauphin, Manitoba and Waywayseecappo First Nation. Peggy enjoyed spending time with her Grandchildren. She was always a helping hand to those in need. Peggy had a heart of gold and was a very humble person.
We will all miss her dearly because of her kindness, her generosity throughout her life, and her smile when she saw her grandchildren and the ones she loved.
