Peter Douglas Johnson (PJ) passed away peacefully at home on October 21st, 2024, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He leaves behind a legacy of love, adeptness, and charm. PJ was born December 17th, 1951 in Langenburg, Saskatchewan. He settled in Shellmouth, Manitoba and through the years he built a strong and unmatched reputation in mechanics and auto body repair. He had three children: Blake, Daryl, and Sharla. PJ met and later married the love of his life, Frances (Frankie) Piché in August of 2003. They spent their 21 years of marriage making their cabin a beautiful home to host numerous gatherings for family and friends, chasing adventure with their horses, quads, and sleds, devoting time to grandchildren, and simply spending their days together in their favorite place in the world – the valley.
PJ is predeceased by his father (Einar), mother (Alverna), and grandson (Tyler). Remaining to cherish PJ’s memory are his wife, Frankie; children, Blake, Daryl, and Sharla (Guy); brother, Maurice (Cecile); grandchildren: Jessica (Geordy), Cody (Mason), Keagan, and Damian, as well many more friends and family.
