It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our brother, Philip Belhumeur. Philip passed away peacefully at the Langenburg Special Care Home in Langenburg, Saskatchewan, on August 2, 2023.
Philip was born and raised in the town of Young, Saskatchewan. He enjoyed playing guitar, listening to country music, and going to the Young Hotel for beers and fellowship with his friends. Philip loved to help his mom in her garden. Shelling peas was his favourite job. He also enjoyed helping his dad in his shop, doing woodwork.
Philip was predeceased by his mother and father, Verna and Jules Belhumeur. He is survived by his sister, Betty (Francis) Fisher and family of Surrey, B.C., brother Ray (Christina) Behumeur and family of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, sister, Laverne (Ron) Viczko and family of Allan, Saskatchewan, and his nieces and nephews, and their families.
We wish to thank Verna LaRose Reetz and her late husband Gerd, of Churchbridge, Saskatchewan, and the Langenburg Care Home for taking such good care of our brother after mom and dad passed away. He enjoyed a good quality of life with you all.
