Richard Dale McManus

Richard “DALE” McManus passed away January 5, 2023 at the age of 59. He was born March 31, 1963 to Clifford and Muriel (Stitt) McManus in Minnedosa  Hospital. Dale grew up on the farm in the Cadurcis area. He began school in Basswood then attended Minnedosa where he graduated with his class in 1981.

He began his agricultural career with Manitoba Pool and worked with them for over 20 years. He then worked for Pizzey’s and Glanbia, ending his career with Johnson’s Grain as a broker.

Dale is lovingly remembered by his children Stephanie (Jordan) and Justin, and his grandson Nicholas. He will be missed by his siblings – Bob (Karen), Judy, Allan, Cathy, Nancy (Randy), Joyce and Eva, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Dale is predeceased by his wife of 10 years, Diana (Smith) McManus and parents Clifford and Muriel McManus.

Dale will be remembered for his great sense of humor and numerous pranks. He enjoyed fishing, camping, family, tossing back a few and travelling, most recently to Mexico.
