Roy Wilfred Cartwright of Langenburg, Saskatchewan passed away on December 19, 2025 at Lakeside Manor Personal Care Home, Saltcoats at the age of 90 Years.
Roy was born on October 7, 1935 in Russell, Manitoba. As a young man he moved to Langenburg to work at the locker plant and various other meat shops. The remainder of his career he was employed at the IMC potash mine. On June 17, 1959 he married the love of his life Mary Barbara Neumeier. They were blessed with 3 children, JoAnn, LeAnn and Glen. He was involved in coaching and playing many sports over the years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Ester Cartwright; brother Ken; parents in-law Walter and Barbara Neumeier; in-laws Robert, Donald, Rita, Doug and Dennis.
He is survived by his wife Mary; son Glen; daughters JoAnn and LeAnn; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
