Shauna Mae Cloud was born on May 27, 2003 at the Prairie Mountain Health Hospital, in Brandon, Manitoba. Shauna is the daughter of Alden Cloud and Jennifer Ledoux of Waywayseecappo. Shauna attended primary school at Waywayseecappo Elementary where she was assisted and loved by her cousin Kayla Cloud and her great aunt Fran Cloud, she then moved on to attend highschool at Rossburn Collegiate.
Shauna was a very talented, creative, smart, funny, and beautiful person. She was a daughter, grandchild, little sister, and big sister. But most of all she was loved by everyone who knew her. Shauna enjoyed drawing, it was a skill she had grown to love, and was one of the things she was most known for. She was always very proud of her artistic talent. When you thought of her, you thought of her art and the many characters from worlds she had created. Yes, Shauna was probably the most creative and imaginative person in Waywayseecappo. Although we wish we could tell her this, we all know deep down she already knew and believed this to be true.
Shauna's confidence is another quality that she will be remembered for, and if you didn't know her art you'd know how straightforward and unafraid she was to speak what was on her mind. Everyone could probably recall and share a notable memory in which Shauna was saying or doing something that seemed quite out of pocket at the time. Whether it was to you or someone else, it's a memory you can look back on now to share and maybe even laugh about with others who knew her.
Aside from her art and personality, another notable trait about Shauna was her appearance. Often changing her hairstyle and having fun dying her hair various vibrant colors of red and orange. She could be seen wearing make-up and jewelry that she had carefully picked out for herself and sometimes would coordinate with a cool outfit to match. This was Shauna’s way of saying she wasn’t afraid of attention, unafraid of what people thought of her style, and that she would always express who she was as a person.
Shauna’s presence left an impact in our lives. She could either be seen walking up and down Cloud Road, visiting with her relatives who lived close by, or simply sitting and having coffee at home; maybe she would even show up at your door. While it was often unannounced, Her visits were a staple within our daily lives. Even if you had just been passing through to say “Hello,” the chance of meeting with Shauna could be expected. These are all things about Shauna that will be greatly missed, but her memory and the love we shared for her will forever be in our hearts. We love you Shauna, may you be at peace.
Shauna was predeceased by her aunt Shauna-Lee Ledoux, her cousin Isabelle Keshane, her great uncle Gordan Ledoux and her grandfather Brian Cloud. She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memory, her parents, Alden Cloud and Jennifer Ledoux, her siblings; Jada Cloud, Jewel Cloud, Ethan Cloud, and Jesse Cloud, her grandparents; Lorna Cloud, Roxanne Brass and Leo Brass, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and acquaintances.
