Shirley May Frieze

It is with deep sadness we wish to announce the sudden passing of Shirley. She will be forever in our hearts, minds and vision. She is finally home, back in Russell, where she always wanted to be. For this we are grateful and now she can rest peacefully, free of all burdens and pain. Shirley is survived by her son Gordon Frieze and family of Russell, Manitoba; twin sister Marie Just and family of Regina, Saskatchewan, Winnipeg, Manitoba and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and Madge Frieze of Russell, Manitoba.

Shirley was predeceased by her parents Alice (1953) & Harold (1963) Storey; brothers Glen Storey in 1966 and Keith Storey in 2018. We sincerely appreciate everyone’s help and guidance with organizing Shirley’s Celebration of Life service to be held at Braendle-Bruce Funeral Chapel, Russell on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. We especially thank Shirley’s son Gordon and sister-in-law Madge Frieze for their assistance. Special thank you to those who will be pallbearers.
