Shirley Ryan of Foxwarren, Manitoba passed away on February 17, 2025 at the age of 98. She had been residing at Sunny Side Manor in Birtle.
Shirley is survived by her daughters: Patricia (Roy) Reagh of Binscarth, Julie (Kevin) Bridgeman of Binscarth, six grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren, David (Tanya) Reagh, Hannah & Kane, Les (Lynelle) Reagh, Tyler & Parker, Kelly (Ali) Reagh, Coco & Halston, Justin (Leah) Bridgeman, Adalie & Kolt, Karalyn (Eric) Main, Blake, Klay & Klara, Kassidy (Brittanny) Bridgeman and Ainsley.
Shirley is survived by her sister Marg (Lyle) Littlejohn of Midhurst Ontario.
Shirley was born in Birtle on Friday September 13, 1926. She married the love of her life Carman Ryan on April 7th, 1945.
Together they farmed, and flew with their private plane across North America attending Flying Farmer events and visiting friends and family. Shirley was involved with the Foxwarren Ladies Ensemble and JR & Company choir groups. At one time she taught singing to choirs and individuals in the area schools and played a role in the Marquette Festival of the Arts.
Mom was always active. She was an avid soft ball player. Some of her past times included curling, golfing, riding horses, snowmobiling, camping at Rossman lake and spending time with family and friends.
