Today we come together in both sorrow and gratitude; sorrow that we’ve lost someone irreplaceable, and gratitude that we had Terry/ aka Stretch in our lives.
Terence Keewatincappo passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, connection, and loyalty to those closest to him.
Terence is the brother of Leroy Keewatincappo and Rusty Keewatincappo.
He is predeceased by biological Mother Beatrice Beaulieu of Sandy Bay, FN. biological Father Clarence Keewatincappo of Waywayseecappo, his great-grandma Hilda Beaulieu; great-grandpa Lugeet Beaulieu; his love Gaileen Rose and his brother Eugene Assiniboine of Long Plains, FN and his beautiful great niece Leah Alexis Cleaver.
Terence was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend who cared deeply for his family. He was cohesive and fair-minded and often brought balance everywhere he would go.
Terence took so much pride in seeing his loved ones connecting and being able to get along.
He loved to travel and was always on the move, journeying across Canada from coast to coast—“pen to pen,” as he would say. He also spent much time traveling throughout Manitoba, something those who knew him well will always remember with a smile. If you know, you know.
His energy, presence, and constant motion were a big part of who he was.
Terrance will be remembered for his dedication to family, his caring nature, and the way he kept people connected he Will be deeply missed by all of us who knew and loved him
The family would like to acknowledge and thank the cooks/servers, fire keepers, and traditional singers.
