Terry Edward Wasteste was born on April 26, 1953 at Birdtail Reserve. He made his journey on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026.

Predeceased by parents, mother Eileen Elk and father Reginald Blacksmith, his siblings; Connie, Kathy, Lyle, Gabe, Brenda. Left to mourn his passing wife Cherie, grandson Chris Jr., numerous nephews, nieces, cousins.

 At a young age of five he was a residential school survivor of 13 years. Terry was and found his way following the pipe and his prayers were very strong. He was a pipe maker for 45 years of his life and found great comfort with it. He made numerous friends and was a true friend and this was very important to him. We all love his gentle and kind ways.
