Thelma was born and raised in Russell, Manitoba and moved to Gerald, Saskatchewan for a short time before moving back to Gambler First Nation where she met her common law husband. They lived in Russell until the birth of their son. They moved to Thompson for about 10 years then moved back to Gambler. Her daughter was born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. She was a loving mother and homemaker.
She enjoyed wildlife-wolves, deer, bears and such but had a real passion for horses. Black Beauty was one of her favorite movies. She hated spiders with a passion.
She is survived by her common-law husband, two children, two grandchildren, brothers Bobby & Louis, six nieces and nephews.
