Vi Laing

Our dear Vi Helen Laing of Russell Manitoba passed away on November 25,2021 at the age of 92 years. She will be deeply missed by family, friends and community which she contributed so much. May she rest in peace and comfort. As per her wishes, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Russell Personal Care Home.

Vi was predeceased  by her husband George Laing;  her brothers Wilbert (Shirley) Edward ,  and Bob : and sister’s Alma McDemott ( Bruce), Anne Watson  (Alex) and Evelyn Bateman( Roy).and son-in-law Ron (June) Danners  She is survived by a sister Leona, and sister’s-in-law: Mae Mantie (Bob) and Glenice Mantie (Edward).

Vi is survived by her children Dwight Campbell( Sherry) and Pat Campbell, Joan (Steve) Petz , June Danners, and Bill (Lauren) Laing. She has 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Vi is also survived by a very special friend Loretta Laing who loved and supported Vi .
