Bill Passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the age of 90 years old. He was married to Linda Gander of Spy Hill for 55 Years. He had 2 brothers, Robert and Ron and one sister, Mary. Mary is the only one left and she lives in Saskatoon. He came to Canada with his parents from England where they bought a homestead in the Rocanville area. Bill got his journeymen in carpentry and started up a business of his own. He loved to make furniture and was good at it.
He Joined with his father-in-law Elmer Andrew of Spy Hill, and he went into farming with Elmer as well. They were a two some and did many jobs together. Bill and Elmer retired in 1989, but Bill kept up with making furniture and smaller jobs.
He loved to bowl and golf, but after heart issues had to give these up. He went to the Esterhazy Care Home in August 2023.
I could not care for him at home as he had lost the use of his legs.
He took part in most of the games at the care home and always liked to win.
He leaves behind his wife Linda of 55 years of marriage and his cat Elly May.
